Heartwood takes its name from the natural silhouette shaped within the wood itself. Its form recalls a heart, but not as a symbol added from outside. It feels as though the wood had always carried it within. We preserved that shape and allowed the piece to speak through it, turning a natural form into a quiet expression of warmth, memory, and presence.
